Chess Clubs are often the heart and soul of the chess community and the ICA Supports many accross the state.

The ICA believes that Chess is much more than a game, it is an Education tool as well. Chess can cultivate essential developmental skills.

Format: 5SS G/45;d5 US Chess Rated Registrants must be 50 years or older and an Idaho Resident. Be pared to show a valid ID showing birthday and address. Registration: $30 pre-registration, $40 on-site. $25 for ICA Members. Email us if your registration is free. USChess Membership Required. Over 65 years old, IMs, FMs, GMs free. Read Policies for ICA events before registering. Prizes: Winner is named Idaho’s Representative to the John T. Irwin National Tournament of Senior State Champions to be held during the U.S. Open.
