2009 - 2010 Chess tournaments

As of right now there are 6 Knights Quest tournaments scheduled, 6 WISCL matches scheduled, and the ICA championships scheduled already. All of the dates for this can be viewed on the IdahoChess.net Events tab. If you are aware of tournaments scheduled in Idaho that are not listed on that calendar, post them here so I can get them added to the calendar.

I only discovered your organization a couple weeks ago. I for one am very excited about the schedule of events. I plan to be coming to the 10-24-09 tournament and meet many of you for the first time (as a player, I hope that's allowed!). I play on webchess since 9-17-09 (wonderful site!), but there's just nothing like live chess in front of your opponent. I am very active in the Idaho Chess Association (ICA) who is having a tournament October 10-11, 2009 in Hailey. So I'll be there and missing the first WISCL tournament. BTW, this is my first ever post on any message board anywhere!

I am updating details on the Knight's Quest tournaments over the next day or two. I am excited for this seasons' tournaments, they should be great fun, and we have an excellent place to host them at. Registration for the tournament on the 24th should also be available in the next couple days and I will send out an email to everyone on the mailing list. We should have a pretty good range of players from brand new players through some advanced scholastic and adult players.
