Times: Check-in: 8:00-8:30 am

Round Times: 9:00 am continuous.

Format: 5SS G/45;d5 US Chess Rated

Girl’s & Women’s (may be combined if low there are numbers)

Registration: $30 pre-registration, $40 on-site. $25 for ICA Members. Women and Girls only, Open to Idaho State residents only.

USChess Membership Required. Over 65 years old, IMs, FMs, GMs free.

Prizes:

• 1st place Overall (Girl’s and Women’s) and for 1st place each grade level.

• Overall Girl’s winner is named Idaho’s Representative to the Ruth Haring Girl’s Tournament of Champions to be held during the U.S. Open.

Games: Chess sets provided, clocks provided. No Insufficient Losing Chances rule.

Byes: Maximum 1-half point bye in any round, must commit before round 2 is paired.

Ties: Solkoff, Cumulative, Cumulative Opposition, Mod. Med.

For Girl’s Section, if more than 2 players have a perfect score, then a G/15;d3 or a G/5;d3 playoff will be used (names representative).
